An inclusive home that combines comfort, sophistication and sustainability, reflected in a modern seaside lifestyle.

The root of the project.

This project is based on the transformation of an existing single-storey building, previously used as office space, into a contemporary and functional residence. The intervention proposes a three-storey structure, clearly and efficiently organised: a basement level dedicated to a garage with capacity for two vehicles and technical areas, and two upper floors housing the social and private areas of the home.

The new spatial configuration was designed to enhance the experience of space and strengthen the relationship with the surroundings, taking full advantage of the open and unobstructed views over the sea. Within this framework, access to the rooftop plays a central role in the programme, acting as a true extension of the living areas. This upper level incorporates a complete leisure zone, including a barbecue area, swimming pool and fire pit, offering a privileged setting for contemplation, social interaction and enjoyment of the landscape.

The architectural integration of the building was carefully studied to ensure a balanced relationship with the surrounding context. The use of high-quality materials in light, neutral tones reinforces this continuity, contributing to an elegant, serene and timeless architectural expression. Interior spaces are defined by their openness and luminosity, with large glazed surfaces, a double-height living room and a strong connection to the exterior. The infinity pool and outdoor deck further enhance the residential experience, reinforcing a sense of comfort and well-being.

From a structural standpoint, this is a conventional construction solution, based on reinforced concrete and thermal clay blocks, ensuring robustness, durability and thermal efficiency. The intervention fully complies with accessibility standards, guaranteeing an inclusive home suitable for people with reduced mobility. The project preserves the integrity of the site and existing infrastructures while promoting sustainability and energy efficiency. PHOCUS thus reaffirms its commitment to architecture that combines innovation, functionality and environmental responsibility.
